Michael Yamashita, PT

Mike graduated from the University of Washington with a
Bachelor of Science in physical therapy.
He has been practicing professionally since 1990.
Mike has worked primarily in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
and has emphasized the pursuit of manual therapy skills, functional
rehabilitation principles, and a broader knowledge base with regard
to the role of biomechanics in musculoskeletal pathology. He is
well versed in the treatment of spinal pathology, sports injuries,
post surgical rehabilitation for the spine and extremities, and has
developed a further specialization in spinal and lower extremity
biomechanics, gait analysis, and custom orthotic application.
In addition to clinical practice, Mike has published a chapter
in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinics of North
America 16(2005) 801-829. His hobbies include cooking,
wine collecting, and trying to keep up with his twin daughters.
He also enjoys soccer and running.

Lisa graduated from Western University of Health Sciences
in Pomona, California with a Masters in Physical Therapy.
She completed her undergraduate education at Oregon State
University where she received her Bachelor of Science in
Exercise and Sport Science. She has been practicing
professionally since 1998.
Lisa’s professional focus has been orthopedic
physical therapy, surgical and non-surgical spine and
extremity rehabilitation. Specializations include dance
and swimming rehabilitation.
In addition to clinical practice at ESRC, Lisa
s on staff with the Pacific Northwest Ballet
where she provides physical therapy to both
professional and student level dancers. She is
also a certified Pilates instructor. Lisa has
been as swimmer since age eight and attended
Oregon State on an athletic scholarship. Her
other hobbies include dance, scuba diving, sky
diving, and world travel.

Joe graduated from the Children's Hospital, Los Angeles.
He completed his undergraduate education at University of
California, Los Angeles where he received a Bachelor of
Science in Kinesiology. He has been practicing professionally
since 1982.
Joe's professional focus has been orthopedic physical therapy,
surgical and non-surgical extremity rehabilitation.
Specializations include spine, shoulder and swimming
specific rehabilitation.
In addition to clinical practice, Joe volunteers his
time at Sammamish High School and club swim meets as
a stroke and turn judge. His hobbies include soccer,
swim meets, and hiking.

and extremity rehabilitation. Specializations
include women's health, particularly pregnancy
and post partum related symptoms, urinary incontinence,
and pelvic dysfunctions.
In Sarah's spare time she enjoys cooking,

completed her undergraduate education at the University

Sada graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, NE with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She completed her undergraduate education at Midland Lutheran College where she received a Bachelor of Natural Science and minor in Athletic Training. She has been practicing professionally since 2002. She became a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist in 2008.
Sada's professional focus has been orthopedic physical therapy, surgical and non-surgical spine and extremity rehabilitation. She has developed further specializations in the application of custom orthotics, gait analysis, lower extremity biomechanical injuries, and bicycle fits.
In Sada's spare time she enjoys playing the piano, participating in triathlons, traveling with her husband, and reading.
Bike Fit appointments are scheduled in 1-hour increments and usually require two-thee appointments to recheck position and biomechanics. A bike fit includes a thorough physical assessment, video analysis of cycling biomechanics and appropriate changes to the bike and foot-pedal interface to address the cyclist?s injuries and concerns. Any equipment needs (such as stems, handlebars, pedals etc) may be purchased at a local bike shop. Wedges, small spacers, screws and a few other small parts are included in the price of the bike fit.
What to Bring: bike, shoes, cycling clothes, helmet (especially for neck/mid-back pain)
Medical bike fits are covered by health insurance in accordance to the appropriate physical therapy diagnosis. However, we reserve the right to bill cash for time spent above and beyond the 1-hour appointment.

Earle graduated from Seattle Massage School in 1999 with
honors and has worked with Doctors of Chiropractic and
Osteopathic specialties in recent years, which has
enhanced his skills in injury treatments. To add to
his medical massage techniques he participated in a
ten week Hospital Massage Internship at St. Joes
Hospital which gave him in depth insight to various
medical conditions ranging from prenatal to oncology
care. Earle specializes in deep tissue and sports
injury. One of his main goals is to assist clients
with their good health and well being by providing
quality massage.

Lonnie Swenson earned his Master’s degree in Exercise
Science from the University of Wyoming. He earned his
Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Fitness from Minot
State University. Lonnie has been training professionally since 1996.
Lonnie is a certified athletic trainer through the National
Athletic Trainer Association (NATA). He is a certified
Strengthen Conditioning Specialist through the National
Strengthen Conditioning Association. He is a certified
Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist
through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
Lonnie specializes in sport-specific personal training,
specifically with high school athletes. His personal
training philosophy is creating pre and post injury
management programs for athletic performance enhancement
through functional training, and core development to
improve overall speed, agility, and athletic development. For more

Katrina Vogel, MS, DPT (Kit) graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Southern California in 2002. She received her Masters of Science from Western Washington University in Human Movement and Performance with a specialization in Biomechanics.
Kit specializes in custom orthotics & biomechanical evaluation/treatment of orthopedic injuries related to running, walking and cycling. She is a guest lecturer in the University of Washington Physical Therapy Department for gait and orthopedics.

Megan attended Pacific University and received her Masters in Physical Therapy in 1998. She has been a practicing physical therapist exclusively in the Bellevue area since 1998. Her areas of expertise include general orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, manual therapy for the spine and extremities including the TMJ, orthotics, biomechanical evaluations, and vestibular rehabilitation and balance training.
She is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association, a Certified Manual Physical Therapist through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She is also a certified Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ASTYM) provider. Megan enjoys working with patients of all ages.
Megan is a former varsity rower for the University of Washington. A native of the Pacific Northwest, she enjoys all outdoor activities and exercise. She lives in Issaquah with her husband and young son and daughter.
